William Ebner will put in a new wire tramway this year to connect the Jumbo group of claims with the mill of the Juneau Mining and Manufacturing company.
Peter Bulger of Wrangell is a Juneau visitor and brought 22 barrels of oolicans or candle fish which are plentiful there. He found a good market here as they are the equal of mackerel as a breakfast dish.
